First, read the rules, ranking, and naming standard. Once you have read the three links below, an agreement will appear. You must accept this agreement to continue filling out your application.
Don't fit the criteria for =CE= because you don't have a legitimate copy of Halo? Check out this topic.
*DISCLAIMER*
=CE= Tags are not to be worn until you have been through the application process and have been accepted into the clan by a clan leader or officer.
Non-clan members caught playing in servers with clan tags on will be banned on sight without warning.
Just because you have applied, does not mean you are an automatic member.
By clicking "I agree" and continuing, you state that you have read through, and understand the rules and regulations. If you disobey or refuse to follow these, we reserve the right to kick you from the clan.
1. Teamkilling is prohibited. Excessive teamkilling in any =CE= server will result in a temporary or permanent ban.
2. Aimbots or any third party game-enhancing programs are strictly prohibited. Any individual caught using these programs will be removed from the clan and permanently banned from all =CE= servers. SightJacker programs may be used for bot-catching purposes ONLY.
3. The use of map glitches that give you an unfair advantage over other players is prohibited.
4. Treat all teammates, =CE= members, and clan allies with respect and courtesy.
5. Be a good sport; excessive profanity or player abuse will not be tolerated.
6. Respect other clans' server rules and regulations at all times.
7. Multi-clanning is acceptable; however, =CE= tags should not be mixed with other clan's tags. Members must display correct tags in both the clan Xfire roster and in their Halo username.
8. All =CE= members are strongly encouraged to use the clan forums. All members of rank Lieutenant and above are required to have an active forum account. Forum access is important for full participation in the Combat Experts Clan.
9. Members who will be offline for extended periods of time must notify the clan via a post in the 'Broadcasts' section of the forum or by contacting a clan leader. Members that are inactive without explanation will be demoted to the rank of Private after 30 days, and after 60 days will be removed from the clan.
10. Clan members must follow proper naming and ranking standards. Members must wear their tags when playing in =CE= servers.
11. Clan members must have their profile details open to the public.
12. All members who wish to change their name must do so via a post in the 'Name Change' topic in the 'Broadcasts' section of the forum.
13. A legal copy of Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo: Custom Edition are required for membership, there are no exceptions. This means that you used the CD key obtained on the CD case of a purchased copy, and not a key obtained from the internet. A copy of Halo: Combat Evolved can be bought for a cheap price at auction sites.
14. Members are required to have a valid Xfire account. Teamspeak is also recommended, even if you do not have a microphone, in order to listen to team strategies during scrimmages and other clan matches.
15. Individuals who voluntarily leave =CE= may rejoin a maximum of four times. There are no exceptions. Members who return within a period of 24 hours may be re-instated at their previous rank or lower without filling out another application at the discretion of the clan leaders. Returning members over a period of greater than 24 hours must follow the same application procedure as new recruits.
16. Individuals whom have been kicked from the clan, or asked to leave based on a behavioral problem or whom have been caught cheating must wait 4 months from the date of leave before they may attempt to re-apply.

Rules of Ranking
1) New Recruits may not submit screenshots of wins to rank up until their probationary period has been completed.
2) Data used for ranking comes from server log files, Xfire snapshots, and firsthand fighting with or against «CE»Addict, or any =CE= member ranked Captain and above.
3) No modded Halo maps may be used for ranking. All other non-modded maps and gametypes are allowed.
4) Halo winning screenshots are defined as Postgame Carnage Report screens showing the player coming in first place. Team Fortress 2 winning screenshots are defined as the scoreboard with under 10 seconds left on the clock & the player coming in first, second or third on the winning team.
5) Winning screenshots are to be posted in the "Ranking" sub-forum within the "Broadcasts" forum.
6) Players must display their correct name and =CE= tags for their screenshots to be counted.
7) If you are unable to capture screenshots with Xfire, either download Fraps or use PRINTSCREEN to copy and paste winning screens into an image file. These files must then be uploaded and posted in the "Ranking" forum.
8) It is understood that people quit near the end of a game, so it is OK if a rankup screen is a player short.
9) If your name contains alt-coded characters, it needs to be obvious that the name is yours within your screenshots.
10) Members must wait a week after a promotion in order to be eligible for another promotion.
11) Postgame Carnage Report screens cannot be accepted for ranking up to Lieutenant, since they only show the top 12 players. Instead, take a screenshot of the F1 score screen as the game is ending, right before the Carnage Report.
12) Ranking up to Lieutenant is based on the following criteria:
1) Games Won
2) Flag Captures
3) Kills
4) Assists
5) Being a good sport
The following is not allowed:
1) Asking people to leave the server so that you will get first place in the Postgame Carnage Report.
2) You must work with your team to capture the flag in CTF games. Having teammates do all the work of stealing the flag, only to pass it to you at base for an easy point, is unacceptable.
1. Tags of new recruit rank will be -CE-
2. Recruits will become full members once their probationary period is completed. The probationary period begins when you have been notified of clan acceptance by a leader or officer. Recruits must practice all clan rules, have no behavior complaints, and show that they are active.
First time members' probationary period will be 7 days.
Second time members' probationary period will be 14 days.
Third time members' probationary period will be 21 days.
Fourth time members' probationary period will be 1 month.
Joining the clan more than four times is not possible.
3. Returning members have a longer probationary period than new recruits, and will not be returned to their former rank upon assimilation back into the clan unless approved by a clan leader.
4. Tags for ranks Private through Captain will be =CE=
5. Tags of ranks Major and above will be «CE»
6. Xfire roster nickname must match ingame Halo name.
7. Your clan name can only be eleven characters maximum, including tag.
8. You may use alt-codes in your name, but you may not change the =CE= tags.
9. When using alt-codes, create the name in Halo first, and then create it Xfire. Halo will not accept all alt-codes.

The procedure for membership of the Combat Experts Clan consists of two stages. The voting stage, and the tryout stage. |
|
• After submitting your application of membership via our Recruiting Center, the application is submitted to our application review staff. The application is then discussed within this committee. The status of the application is based on a majority vote on the application. If the application is reviewed negatively, the application is rejected, and the applicant will be contacted via Discord or email. If the application is reviewed positively, the applicant is contacted via Discord, and next step of the procedure is taken. |
•
In the tryout stage of the membership process, you will test your skills in a game of Halo. The process involves a 1 on 1
duel against two members of the application review staff. The gametype is a game of Capture of Flag on Blood Gulch.
The rules are as follows:
